I received my MSc diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in 2016.

Afterwards, I pursued a PhD in Data Science at the Artificial Intelligence and Learning Systems (AILS) laboratory of ECE NTUA, where I mainly worked on the analysis and manipulation of medical images to support timely diagnosis and evaluation. Between 2018 and 2020 I also worked as a professional Software Engineer at a major ecommerce company designing and developing tools for the automation of content handling pipelines.

I am currently resuming my PhD at Orion Lab in the context of developing and applying Deep Learning techniques on big Earth Observation data for the damage assessment and monitoring of natural disasters.
