Since 2022, Ilektra has been working as a Research Associate at the Orion Lab. Currently, her focus is on the coordination and management of EU-funded projects related to artificial intelligence, environmental monitoring, and natural hazards, with an emphasis on wildfires and their atmospheric and climate impacts. In the past, her work was around environmental dataset development, geospatial data analysis, and supporting wildfire risk assessment and forecasting workflows using Python-based tools, and tectonic displacements through GNSS.
